Description

English for Business Course (EBH0G2) is one of the compulsory courses which is held in Faculty of Economics and Business. In curriculum 2016, this course is conducted in the 3th Semester for Management of Business in Telecommunication and Informatics (MBTI) study program for regular class and 2nd Semester for International ICT Business class and Accounting Study Program.

In this course, students are learning the skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Grammar is integrated in every skill that will be implemented in Business.

Learning Outcome(s)

In this English for Business course, the students will develop key skills that will prepare them for a range of real world business situations. The students will learn the skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Grammar is integrated in every skill that will be implemented in business.

1. Speaking: Demonstrate effective verbal communication skills including for public speaking.
2. Listening: Understand and take notes confidently in real world business situations.
3. Reading: Interpret texts to identify main and supporting ideas, and interpret data.
4. Writing: Use effective writing skills for letters, emails, proposals and reports
