Collaboration between ICE Institute, UT, and Sunmaker Drives Innovation in 3D-Based Digital Learning

South Tangerang, May 22, 2026 — Universitas Terbuka (UT) continues to expand its collaboration network in strengthening digital learning through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Sunmaker. The signing ceremony took place on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Operational Room of Universitas Terbuka, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership focused on developing online courses and training programs supported by 3D-based infrastructure.

The MoA signing ceremony was attended by the Rector of Universitas Terbuka and Head of ICE Institute Consortium, Prof. Dr. Ali Muktiyanto, alongside the Senior Manager of Sunmaker, Runan Ji. The event began with registration and an opening session led by MC, followed by the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, “Indonesia Raya.” Representatives from both institutions then delivered welcoming remarks before proceeding to the official signing session.

During the ceremony, Universitas Terbuka and Sunmaker signed two copies of the MoA document as a symbol of their institutional commitment. The signing process was followed by a document exchange and a group photo session, marking the completion of the ceremonial phase and the beginning of further technical and operational collaboration.

The partnership between UT and Sunmaker is considered significant as it combines UT’s expertise in open and distance education with Sunmaker’s technological innovation capabilities. During this session, ICE Institute IT Team facilitated discussions regarding Sunmaker’s dashboard development plans. This coordination is expected to ensure that the collaboration outlined in the MoA can be translated into a functional, measurable, and sustainable digital system.

The planned dashboard will support Sunmaker in offering online courses and training programs utilizing 3D infrastructure. Through the platform, Sunmaker is expected to manage program offerings, organize course information, monitor content readiness, and coordinate technical requirements related to online training implementation. For UT and ICE Institute, the dashboard will also serve as a coordination instrument to ensure that program management is conducted systematically and aligned with digital learning service needs.
