About This Course

Do you know why ' roast chicken ' is wrapped in lotus leaves?  Why does the cocktail Mojito's ' leaf of soul ' exude a cool and charming fragrance? Can fresh orange peel be used to soak water?  As a multidisciplinary interdisciplinary course,  ' homology of medicine and food in Chinese treasures'  involves professional knowledge such as botany,  Chinese materia medica processing, nutrition and basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine. It will reveal the answers to these questions for you. From ancient times to the present,  from the outside to the inside,  we should carry forward the concept of homology of medicine and food rooted in traditional Chinese   medicine culture. You should  not miss it if you pay attention to diet therapy and health preservation, are keen on delicious dishes and like traditional culture.

Course Staff

Wei Zhou Ph.D., Associate Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor, Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ethnopharmaceutics, College of Pharmacy, Yanbian University. Member of Jilin Provincial Committee of Natural Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Visiting scholar, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University. She taught pharmaceutical professional courses such as ' medicinal botany ' and ' pharmacognosy '. She has won many national and provincial teaching awards. She is mainly engaged in the research of medicinal plants, fungi and marine biological active ingredients, chairs many research project and published more than 80 SCI papers.

Jinfeng Sun is a doctor, Associate Professor, College of Pharmacy, Yanbian University, master 's tutor, party branch secretary, postdoctoral fellow of Zhejiang Academy of Medical Sciences and Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, member of Jilin Provincial Committee of Natural Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She lectured on pharmacy courses such as ' Chinese Materia Medica '. She is mainly engaged in the research work of material basis and immunology of traditional Chinese medicine. She participated in many national, provincial and school-level scientific research projects. She published more than 20 SCI papers.

 

Ziqiao Wang is a master and experimentalist of Yanbian University. His main research direction is online education and technology empowerment education. He participated in 1 key project of provincial undergraduate higher education teaching reform, 1 general project of provincial undergraduate higher education teaching reform and 1 scientific research project of provincial higher education. Published 2 SCI papers ; he taught modern educational technology courses ; now undertake school online course construction and sharing work.

Gao Li is a professor, Doctor of Science, doctoral supervisor, director of pharmacy and director of pharmacy discipline of Yanbian University. He is also the secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Pharmacy of Yanbian University, the executive director of the key laboratory of the Ministry of Education of Changbai Mountain Natural Medicine Research, the deputy director of the professional committee of the new technology of traditional Chinese medicine of China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the member of the professional committee of pharmacy education of China Pharmaceutical Association. He is mainly engaged in the research and teaching of Changbai Mountain natural medicine and the active prescription and resources of Chinese Korean ethnic medicine. In recent years, he has published more than 130 papers in academic journals at home and abroad.
