About This Course
Introduction to Metallurgical Machinery belongs to the course of introduction to iron making and steel making machinery. It aims to open the first door to the field of metallurgy for undergraduates of related majors, so that students can accept the basic knowledge of metallurgy as soon as possible, develop professional interest, and do a good job in professional enlightenment and guidance education.
The course of Introduction to Metallurgical Machinery systematically, from iron making and steel making two parts, introduces steel production process. Through the teaching of typical equipment, the structural characteristics of iron making and steel making machinery are analyzed, so that students can have a comprehensive understanding of iron making and steel making machinery and equipment.
The language expression focuses on the simple and easy to understand, eliminating abstruse academic terms, highlighting the characteristics of professional, knowledgeable and interesting.

Requirements
The course is suitable to Undergraduate students or all members of the community who are interested in basic knowledge of metallurgy machinery.
It is better if they have some knowledge of mechanical engineering and metallurgical engineering.

He is visiting scholar of University of Dayton, Associate Dean of Mechanical Engineering School of University of Science and Technology Liaoning, Director of provincial Key Laboratory of Metallurgical Equipment and Process Control, Director of provincial Mechanical Virtual Simulation Experiment Center, Director of Mechanical Design Branch of Liaoning Mechanical Engineering Association, Member of the Teaching Steering Committee of Machinery Specialty in Liaoning Province High Education, Provincial Outstanding Teacher Award, Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Award, the first prize winner of provincial Education Reform.
He is the person in responsible for the overall planning and management and the teaching of continuous casting equipment in steel making machinery.
Liao Guibing
Ph.D, lecturer, visiting scholar of Wollongong University, majoring in mechanical design and theory. Main courses include introduction to metallurgical machinery, ironmaking machinery, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment, Fundamentals of mechanical design, etc.
He is the person in responsible for the teaching of iron making equipment.
Wang Liping
Ph.D, Professor, master supervisor. She is a visiting scholar of University of Debrecen in Hungry and a visiting scholar of Saitama Institute of Technology in Japan. Third prize winner of 5th XJTLU National University Teaching Innovation Award, Excellent Instructor of Liaoning College Students Mechanical Innovation Competition.
She is the person in responsible for the teaching of Converter Steel making equipment.
