About This Course

Acupuncture and moxibustion, the important component of Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), have been used for thousands of years in the treatment and prevention of diseases and have accumulated abundant empirical experience. They mainly consist of four parts, meridians and collaterals, acupoints, techniques of acupuncture and moxibustion, and clinical application of acupuncture and moxibustion. After learning this online course, the learners will comprehend the meridian theory to some extent, master the locations of important points and know how to manipulate needling, moxibustion, and cupping etc. In addition, acupuncture treatment of commonly seen diseases, which may attract the interests of listeners someway, will help them deal with some conditions in daily life by self-care methods.

Requirements

You should master the circulation of Twelve Regular meridians, the commonly used points and their healthcare methods.

Wang Ruihui, Male, doctor of medicine, second-class Professor, chief physician, supervisor of Master Graduate Student of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, part-time supervisor of Doctor Graduate Student of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese medicine, The model of teachers' morality in Shaanxi Province, the famous teachers in Colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province, and the famous teachers in special support plan in Shaanxi Province.
He is also the appointed examination expert of the Chinese medicine qualification certification center of the State Administration of traditional Chinese medicine, the vice president of the Third Council of the translation professional association of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, the vice president of the Sixth Council of Shaanxi Rehabilitation Medicine Association, the vice chairman of the first committee of the pain Professional Committee of the Chinese Acupuncture Association, and the vice chairman of the Third Committee of evidence-based acupuncture Professional Committee of China Acupuncture Association, leaders of key disciplines of rehabilitation of traditional Chinese medicine of State Administration of traditional Chinese medicine and Shaanxi Administration of traditional Chinese medicine, and leaders of acupuncture of Shaanxi Administration of traditional Chinese medicine. 
He is mainly engaged in clinical and Experimental Research on acupuncture treatment of nervous system diseases, has successively presided over 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation, 3 projects of Shaanxi Natural Science Foundation, 7 scientific research projects at the level of department and Bureau; published more than 60 academic papers. He is the editor in chief of the planning textbook ( "Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation" 13th five year plan textbook) of Chinese medicine colleges and universities, and the deputy editor in chief of 7 professional related textbooks. He has won one first prize and one second prize for teaching achievements in Shaanxi Province.
He is good at treating apoplexy, paralysis, facial paralysis, neck, shoulder, waist, leg pain, rheumatoid joint pain, headache, insomnia, depression, gastrointestinal diseases, chronic prostatitis, tension urinary incontinence and other difficult diseases.

Hongyan QU, a Professor from acupuncture and moxibustion college of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine. She graduated from acupuncture department of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine with master’s degree in the year 2006, major is acupuncture and moxibustion. She has been teaching acupuncture and moxibustion with both Chinese and English for domestic and international students, as well as the foreign doctors nearly 15 years ever since. She has hosted and participated in one provincial Teaching project for each. She has won one second prize for teaching achievements in her university and in Shaanxi province for each. She wrote and participated in compiling one bilingual textbook and published more than ten bilingual teaching papers in national academic journals. She love to be a teacher, and very glade to dedicate herself to the education enterprise of her university and their motherland. 
      For this online course, she is in charge of teaching general discussion to meridians, brief introduction of acupoints, and clinical application of some diseases.

Lu LI, a lecture of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine.In 2014, she got a master's degree in Chinese medicine (acupuncture and moxibustion) from Hong Kong Baptist University.Now,mainly teaches Acupuncture and Moxibustion bilingual course,Basic Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine bilingual course, Experimental Acupuncture and Moxibustion. She awarded the Personal Excellence Award of the 2016 and 2018 National Acupuncture Skills Competition, the third prize of the school-level micro-class competition,Hosted a bilingual demonstration course "Acupuncture Moxibustion techniques".For this online course—acupuncture and moxibustion, is in charging of teaching techniques and manipulation of acupuncture and moxibustion,cupping therapy and other commonly used techniques in acupuncture and moxibustion.
