About This Course

With the history of ancient Chinese music as the axis, it introduces the music history and music culture of different periods, interspersed with the related content of ancient music and national instruments. Introduce students to traditional Chinese music culture, including its historical development, music aesthetics and styles in different periods (through the reading of ancient music and instrumental music), representative works, musical figures, etc. To carry forward traditional Chinese music culture and promote the dissemination of representative pieces of traditional Chinese music (national instrumental music, vocal music, dance, opera, etc.). Improve students' art appreciation ability and cultivate students' art appreciation level.

Course Staff

Liu Jianting (1982-), female, Doctor of Fine Arts, Deputy Dean of School of Art, Nanchang University, associate professor, master tutor, Jiangxi Province curriculum ideological and political teaching teacher. He is the main lecturer of two provincial courses, has published two personal academic monographs, published many academic papers in core journals, and presided over and participated in more than ten provincial projects.

Zheng Lu (1983-), female, Dean of School of Art of Nanchang University, director of art education Department, professor, master tutor, published more than ten papers in CSSCI journals; Wrote 2 think tank articles and received full and positive instructions from provincial leaders; published 2 monographs and 1 solo album in national publishing house; presided over 1 major project of Jiangxi Province Social Science "14th Five-Year Plan" Fund and 5 provincial projects.

Shi Fangfang, associate professor of School of Art, Nanchang University, member of Master's Director of Chinese National Vocal Music Art Research Association, and famous teacher of ideological and political teaching in Jiangxi Province. Published 2 monographs; Chief editor and editor of 2 textbooks; Presided over 5 provincial projects; Won the second prize of university-level excellent achievements: published more than 10 academic papers such as CSSCI and North Nuclear, and won the national and provincial government awards and excellent instructor awards for many times.

He Yibo,male, PhD, Inner Mongolia University, China. His research interests include composition and compositional theory, midi music production and minority art. He is currently working in the School of Art and Characters of Nanchang University, engaged in the teaching and research of composition, composition technology theory, midi music production.

Liu Lei (1983-), male, Deputy director of Propaganda Department (News Center) of Nanchang University Party Committee, lecturer. Participated in a number of National Social Science Fund projects, humanities and social science projects in colleges and universities of Jiangxi Province. Long engaged in propaganda ideological and cultural work.

Jiang Yining is a young pianist in the United States, Doctor, member of the American Piano Teachers Association (MTNA). He received his Doctorate in Music and Arts (DMA) from Madison University in Jameson, USA. He is now a lecturer and director of the Piano Teaching and Research Department of the School of Art, Nanchang University.
