
About This Course
1.Course Introduction
Business Letters & Emails in International Trade Course is designed to cultivate your ability to apply business English, that is, to read and write business letters and emails of international trade. The content is based on work projects in the work process of foreign trade and is divided into nine modules. Firstly, it introduces the basic knowledge of business letters and emails in international trade. Secondly, the course is designed to explore the development of foreign trade business. Thirdly, it is about the business negotiation such as inquiries, offers, and counter-offers. The fourth part discusses the payment, samples, packaging, insurance, transportation, and other contents involved in the business performance process. The fifth part discusses the follow-up management of the business, including issues related to complaints, claims, and claims settlement.
2.Learning Objective
Upon completion of this course, you will be proficient in the basic writing skills of business letters and emails in the field of international trade transactions. You will be able to develop customers by writing business developing emails, negotiate effectively by writing emails of enquiry, offer, counter-offer and acceptance, sign the contract successfully and fulfill the contract smoothly by writing emails related to samples, packing, payment, insurance, shipment, etc. You will be confident in dealing with after-sales problems by writing emails of complaint and claim.

I have working experience as a translator and foreign trader which enriches my practical experience. I mainly teach courses such as Foreign Trade English Correspondence, Foreign Trade English, and International Settlement, etc, with an average annual teaching time over 400 hours.
