About This Course
This course will study international finance and macroeconomics. The objective is to acquire an understanding of how international financial markets work and how international economic integration affects policy making. We will study exchange rates, international financial flows, monetary and fiscal policies, the consequences of globalization, currency regimes and international financial crises. We will use many examples from the rich history of international finance and financial crises and current events to illustrate how the global economy and national macroeconomic policy interact.

Huang Xianming,doctor in economics, professor and doctoral supervisor of economics, has been selected as the "Hundred Talents Project" of Jiangxi Province, the Excellent Youth Talent Plan of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, and Won the honorary titles of "Top Ten Teachers" (2019), "Top Ten Scientific Researcher" (2018) of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics.
In recent years, he has published more than 20 academic papers and 2 monographs in CSSCI journals such as Scientific Research Management, Contemporary Finance and Economics, International Trade, Tax Research and Economic Review; Presided over and completed more than 10 projects of the National Social Science Foundation, the Humanities and Social Science Foundation of the Ministry of Education.
TU YUANFEN,professor of the School of International Business and Economics, doctoral supervisor in JUFE. She has been engaged in the teaching and research of international economics for a long time. She has published more than 20 papers in Contemporary Finance and Economics, Business Research and other magazines, presided over two National Natural Science Foundation projects, and participated in many national level projects.
He Chang, Doctor in Finance, Associate professor, School of International Economics and Trade, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics.
Research is mainly focused on the areas of international trade theory, international finance (exchange rate), and international direct investment (FDI). And I have published several academic papers on the important Chinese journal, such as The Journal of Quantitative and Technical Economics.
I Mainly teach students the courses of International Macroeconomics, International Trade, International Finance, and Multinational Corporation, etc.
Dr. Liu is an associate professor in Jiangxi University of Finance and economics. He used to be a visiting scholar in Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas in Mexico. He presided over National Social Science Youth Project and several provincial and ministerial level research projects. His manuscripts are published in SSCI and SCI cited journals such as Review of Development Economics, Emerging Markets Finance and Trade, Reservation, Conservation and Recycling, Ecological Indicators, Journal of Cleaner Production, etc. Some of his undergraduates’ manuscript can be seen in SCI and EI indexed journals. He has won the Outstanding Paper Award at iCRS Conference in 2019, Excellent Paper Awards at Asia Pacific Innovation Conference in 2021, and Excellent Paper Award at the Sino-Korean Economic and Management Annual Conference in 2021 and 2022. He was rewarded as “May 4th” Youth Medal and Excellent Worker Awards at Jiangxi University of Finance and economics.
