About This Course

The main purpose of this course is to help students to have an objective and in-depth understanding of China's foreign economic policies. This course has three major features:

(1) Systematic. This course systematically and objectively expounds China's foreign economic policies from the aspects of China's opening-up strategy, foreign trade policy, foreign investment policy, foreign financial policy, foreign-related tax policy, foreign project contracting policy, foreign development aid, relations with important international economic organizations and China's "Belt and Road" initiative.

(2) Internationalization. The course team is led by Professor Wu Chaoyang, dean of the School of International Business and Economics, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, and includes many foreign experts from the United States, Pakistan, Nigeria and other countries.

(3) Flexible way. The course is interspersed with a large number of videos and cases, trying to fully demonstrate the great achievements of China's reform and opening-up in an intuitive and flexible way, and effectively publicize China's foreign economic policies.

Course Staff

Professor, doctoral supervisor, Dean of School of International Economics and Trade, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Dean of "One Belt and One Road" Research Institute, Vice president of China Price Association National College Price Theory and Teaching Research Association, member of China Circulation 30 Youth Forum (Youth G30), director of National College Trade and Economics Teaching Research Association. Professor Wu Chaoyang has published more than 30 academic papers in important academic journals at home and abroad, such as Review of Devel, Reform, opment Economics of Nankai Economic Research Institute, International Trade, Contemporary Finance and Economics. Published five monographs and textbooks; The main author declared and successfully approved 1 national social science key project, presided over 2 national Social Science fund projects, and participated in 3 national Social Science fund projects as the second person in charge, presided over and participated in more than 10 provincial and ministerial level and horizontal projects.
