About This Courselves
The course aims to cultivate students' clinical thinking by focusing on the basic pathology in the general introduction of surgery and common and frequently-occurring diseases in specific discussions, discussing typical cases, and integrating theory teaching with clinic practice. Teachers are assigned to give students advice on each knowledge point and encourage them to make diagnosis and treatment plans by inquiry learning, so as to cultivate their ability to find and solve problems in the active participation in the teaching process. With the help of modern information technology in the demonstration of typical diseases and guided by theory reviewing, the course is centered on observing and describing pathology and focuses on basic pathology to cultivate the students' ability to observe, analyze and solve problems. The course covers 108 class hours in classroom teaching and the online course is mainly oriented to students majoring in clinical medicine, nursing science and non-clinical medicine, as well as people interested in surgery.
