 Course introduction

Introduction to the course: The development of orthopedics and traumatology of TCM has a long history, known as "royal surgeon", "incised wound", "fracture", "traumatic disease", etc., which is a clinical discipline integrating prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and motor system-related diseases in various parts of the human body. This course is intended for undergraduate students majoring in TCM (including TCM, acupuncture and moxibustion, tuina, etc.). Its main contents include the causes and clinical manifestations of injuries, the four diagnostic methods and the examination methods of various parts of the human body, common injuries of orthopedics and traumatology and related treatment methods, etc.

Orthopedics and traumatology of TCM has unique efficacy and remarkable features. The teaching team of this course adopts flexible and interactive teaching methods to cultivate students' interest in learning, form a systematic knowledge framework through the summary of basic theories and post-course evaluation, guide students to apply their knowledge through practical case analysis, cultivate students' clinical attitudes of great medical sincerity and cooperation between doctors and patients through the infiltration of ideological and political elements, and teach to achieve the effect of inferring other things from one fact, improve students' ability to recognize symptom reference and comprehensive thinking ability of orthopedics and traumatology diseases, contribute to the cultivation of high-quality medical talents and successors with both virtues and talents, and to the development of TCM in China.

Yimei Hu

Hu Yimei, female, associate professor, PhD, master's supervisor, deputy director of Academic Affairs Office of Chengdu University of TCM. After more than 10 years of work, through many years of clinical practice and teaching as well as summary of experiences in undergraduate teaching management of the School, she gradually forms a teaching style of "motivating interest, provoking thought and interactive exploration". In recent years, she has presided over one provincial educational reform project, won two teaching achievement prizes in Sichuan Province, two grand prizes and one first prize in teaching achievements in the university. Meanwhile, she has presided over one NSFC project and one ministerial and provincial project.

Zhen Chen  

He graduated from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2014 with a master's degree in medicine. Currently serves as the undergraduate teaching secretary of the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Clinical Medical College of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has long been engaged in clinical, scientific research and teaching work. Courses taught include: "Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopaedic Science", "Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Clinical Orthopaedic Science", "Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedics Clinical Training", "Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopaedic Science Experiment" and other courses.

Leiming Jiang  

Master of Medicine, University Lecturer. He has been engaged in teaching, clinical and scientific research for a long time. Using integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine methods to treat various fractures, dislocations, cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, knee osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, bone hyperplasia and osteoporosis and other diseases. Currently, he is a young member of the Orthopaedic Injury Special Committee of Sichuan Chinese Medicine Association. Participated in a number of national-level projects, in charge of school fund research, authored many papers, and participated in the compilation of the western excellent textbook "Chinese and Western Medicine Clinical Orthopaedic Science".

Bing  Lu

Doctor of Medicine, Chief Physician, Deputy Director of Orthopedics Department of Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, has been engaged in bone and trauma and sports medicine for many years, currently focusing on the field of orthopedic shoulder and elbow trauma and minimally invasive treatment. He is currently a member of the Innovation and Transformation Group of the Orthopedic Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a youth member of the Orthopedic Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, a trauma executive committee of the Elite Society of the Orthopedic Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, a member of the first Chinese trauma committee of SICOT (International Society of Orthopaedic and Traumatology), and a shoulder and elbow member. Member, Member of Quality Supervision Committee and Trauma Team of Chinese Academy of Orthopaedic Continuing Education, Vice President of Orthopedic Branch of Sichuan Medical Association, Vice Chairman of Hand Microsurgery Specialized Committee of Sichuan Medical Association, and Bone and Joint Specialist of Sichuan Rehabilitation Medicine Association Vice chairman of the committee, editor of "Chinese Journal of Orthopedics", editorial board of "Chinese Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery", etc.

 Yi Zhou

Yi  Zhou , Ph.D., attending physician. Secretary of the Joint Group and Youth Committee of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Professional Committee of the Sichuan Chinese Medicine Association. He has been engaged in clinical, teaching and scientific research work in TCM Orthopedics and Traumatology for nearly 10 years. Mainly carry out clinical research of traditional Chinese medicine on joint degenerative diseases and osteonecrosis. Published more than 10 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals; participated in and presided over 5 projects of Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Sichuan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Fund, and Chengdu Science and Technology Bureau; ", "Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedics Science"
