About This Course

“Translation and Introduction to Chinese Culture” is an integral course for the Spanish language and literature major, a professional course designated by the Spanish Teaching Steering Subcommittee of the Higher Education Teaching Steering Committee under the Ministry of Education. The establishment of this course is expected to integrate professional teaching with ideological and political education. Through the introduction and translation of Chinese culture into Spanish, students can understand the rich connotation of Chinese culture, strengthen their identity of Chinese culture, develop their awareness of cross-cultural communication so that they can become envoys of cross-cultural communication to enhance Chinese culture, spread Chinese voices, and tell Chinese stories well in the near future.

Leading researcher in one research project from National Ethnic Affairs Commission of the People’s Republic of China. Participant of various research projects from National Language Commission of the PRC, Ministry of Education of the PRC and China Media Group.
