2. Course content: "Artistic; Creation of Photography" MOOC includes five major modules: composition, angle, modeling, color, and lighting. Seeking a new, unique, and the best angle is the eternal task of a photographer. Modeling is not only a necessary condition for obtaining the formal beauty but also necessary for expressing the main idea of an image. Course Staff
Guo Yanmin, a Ph.D. in literature, is a professor and supervisor of master's and doctoral students. He is the lead lecturer and coordinator for the online course " Artistic Creation of Photography." His research areas include photography, documentary films, the internet, and new media. The photography courses he taught have successively won awards such as "Excellent Course" at Communication University of China, "Excellent Course" in Beijing, "National-Level Excellent Online Course," and "First Batch of Top Undergraduate Online Courses" designated by the Chinese Ministry of Education. From January 2006 to July 2007, he served as a visiting scholar, exchanging and studying at Miami University and Brooklyn College, City University of New York, in the United States.
