The science of acupuncture and moxibustion, is an important component of Traditional Chinese Medicine .This course is meant to help you understand the theory of acupuncture and how we practice it in clinic .
The teachers of this course are the doctors engaged in clinical acupuncture work for many years. They have rich theoretical knowledge and clinical experience. In this course , we recorded some acupuncture treatment videos and some clinical cases. Our goal is to give you a better understanding of the theory of acupuncture. At the end of this course you are expected to grasp these theories and apply them in clinic.

Zhang Jie, doctor of medicine, Professor, chief physician, master supervisor, is currently the director of the Department of traditional Chinese medicine of the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University, vice chairman of the working committee of traditional Chinese medicine of the General Hospital of the Chinese Medicine Association, vice chairman of the Youth Committee of the rheumatism Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Integrated Chinese and Western medicine, and vice-chairman and Quan of the rheumatism Professional Committee of the Provincial Association of traditional Chinese medicine.She is the third group of inheritors of the academic experience of senior Chinese medicine and the academic leader of the first batch of national regional Chinese medicine (rheumatism) diagnosis and treatment center. Director Zhang has been working in the clinical front line for a long time. She has been engaged in the research of traditional Chinese medicine intervention in the treatment of rheumatic immune system diseases, as well as the clinical experience and academic thinking of famous Chinese medicine. Professor Zhang has successively presided over one general project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, one evidence-based capacity building project of national basic traditional Chinese medicine, one national key research and development project, one capacity building project of clinical (specialty) Department of traditional Chinese medicine in Liaoning Province, one provincial science and technology plan, and one provincial key medical peak project. She has participated in the project application of national major science and technology program for three times as the person in charge of the sub center in the sub project. Professor Zhang has published more than 40 Chinese and English papers in the past five years, edited the textbook "Chinese Medicine "(higher Education Press), monograph" Xinglin Medical dialect "(people's Health Publishing House ,2013)," Rheumatological Chinese Medicine Clinical Syndrome Jin Jian "(China traditional Chinese Medicine Press ,2020). She won the second prize of science and technology progress in Liaoning Province, the third prize of Liaoning Science and Technology Progress Award, and the second prize of Science and Technology Award of Chinese Academy of traditional Chinese Medicine.

Ren Shuang

Ren Shuang, female, born in 1983, Lecturer, Doctor of Medicine. Ren graduated from Shanghai University of traditional Chinese Medicine in 2013. She is currently the national backbone of traditional Chinese medicine inheritance, the provincial famous academic inheritor of traditional Chinese medicine, and the young member of the liver disease professional committee of the Chinese Society of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine. She engaged in teaching and research of traditional Chinese medicine for 7 years, the main research direction is liver cirrhosis TCM syndrome research. She presided over the Ministry of Education key Laboratory Open Fund 1, China Medical University New teacher Fund 1, and has participated in a number of national and provincial projects. So far, she has published Chapter more than 10(2 SCI articles), participated in the "13th Five-Year Plan "graduate planning textbook ," Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Clinical Research" compilation.

Li Xiaochen, born in 1981, lecturer, attending physician, Master of Medicine. Teacher Li's main research direction is the practice and application of traditional Chinese medicine teaching reform in western medicine colleges. He has presided over a teaching reform project of the Chinese Medical Association, participating in a number of national and provincial projects. He has been responsible for seven-year system, undergraduate classes, specialist classes, advanced doctors and other different levels of Chinese medicine courses teaching.
