课程特色:
(I) Combined with the advantageous and characteristic industries of modern animal husbandry to achieve accurate positioning of courses
The swine industry is the largest industry in animal husbandry and the industry with the strongest demand for talents. This course solves the problem of lack of proficiency and specificity caused by learning about animal infectious diseases only in the past, thus the learning content is more suitable for industrial development. Combined with the needs of posts such as veterinarians, biosafety as well as inspection and quarantine, this course is divided into 6 modules, including general and key prevention and control technologies for porcine epidemic diseases, so that the course is more suitable for the cultivation of talents in animal husbandry and veterinary specialty group.
(II) Establish and implement the "Mixed Method of Teaching with Six Steps" to realize "Six Combinations"
The "Mixed Method of Teaching with Six Steps" consists of 6 steps: ① online preliminary study → ② independent learning →③ intensive learning in large class → ④ skill practice → ⑤ online Q&A → ⑥ quiz evaluation for design and implementation. The combinations of ideological and political education and intellectual education, large class teaching and individual Q&A, centralized learning and independent learning, offline learning and online learning, knowledge consolidation and skill practice, and process evaluation and summative assessment are realized. The cultivation of students' habits and abilities of independent and lifelong learning and the training of veterinary practical skills are valued, reflecting the modern veterinary teaching concept of "student-centered".
