First, Course content：
This course includes six parts:Basic knowledge of marine materials；Basic knowledge of ship welding；Welding method；Welding quality inspection；Welding operation；Welding quality inspection operation。
Second,Learning objectives:
1. Knowledge goals:
1) Master the mechanical properties and heat treatment methods of metal materials, and master the designation method of marine materials;
2) Master the basic knowledge of welding;
3) Master the welding method;
4) Master the reasons for the existence of welding defects.
2. Skill target:
1) Cultivate students' ability to reasonably select heat treatment methods according to marine materials;
2) Cultivate students' ability to take preventive measures and improvement measures for the stress and deformation of welded structures;
3) Cultivate students' ability to formulate welding process and actual welding operation for different marine materials and hull structures;
4) Cultivate students' ability to perform non-destructive inspection of weld metal by means of non-destructive testing.
