Zhang Xin, male, was born in January 1976 in Changchun City, Jilin Province. He is a member of the Communist Party of China, holding a Doctor of Medicine degree, having completed postdoctoral studies. He is a professor and a doctoral supervisor. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Dean of the College of Acupuncture and Tuina at Changchun University of Chinese Medicine. He also concurrently serves as the Vice President of the Professional Committee of Chinese Manipulation of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, Deputy Director of the Professional Committee of Combining Acupuncture and Tuina of the China Association of Acupuncture-Moxibustion, Vice President of the Tuina Branch of the Jilin Province Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Head of the Key Research Laboratory of the Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Jilin Province, and is recognized as a "Backbone Innovative Talent in Traditional Chinese Medicine" by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In terms of scientific research, Zhang Xin's main research direction is the clinical and mechanism research of treating visceral diseases with Chinese manipulation techniques. In recent years, he has carried out a series of clinical and experimental studies focusing on "the regulation of the body's immune function by back tuina manipulation".
