Course Description

Hello and greetings to all students wherever you are! I hope you are always in good health. You are now entering the Introduction for the Copyediting Course in Indonesian Language. My name is Brillianing Pratiwi, S.S., M.A. , and I will be your tutor for this Copyediting course. I am from Universitas Terbuka, Indonesia

In this introduction, allow me to explain what you will learn in this course. The course will be delivered over 6 sessions. In each session, you will actively participate in tutorial activities, such as studying the tutorial materials, and completing assignments in every session.

Learning Outcome 

After completing the Copyediting course, students will have a deep understanding of the knowledge related to editing in Indonesian language, both theoretically and practically, in accordance with curriculum demands. This includes:

Explaining the essence of editing

Explaining the scope of editing

Explaining the guidelines for editing

Editing spelling

Editing words

Editing sentences

Editing paragraphs

Lecture Profile

Brillianing Pratiwi as a s a lecturer in Indonesian Language and Literature Education at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Terbuka. Previously, she worked as a Language Editor at the Multimedia Center, Universitas Terbuka. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Indonesian Literature and a Master's degree in Linguistics, both from Universitas Gadjah Mada. Her interests include linguistics, editing, and language education.
