About This Course
Theory and Problems of Translation course organizes material for students to study translation concepts. The course teaches translation theory as well as solutions for accurate, natural, and acceptable translation. Students can explain and apply the translation process by learning theory. This enables them to deal with translation issues and produce readable translations.
Students gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills for dealing with translation issues through structured modules in the course materials. This enables them to translate texts into the target language accurately, naturally, and acceptably. Students learn to explain translation decisions and use problem-solving techniques to overcome translation challenges.

She works as a lecturer in English Literature Study Program at Universitas Terbuka-Indonesia Open University (UT). She graduated from the University of Indonesia (UI) in the field of applied linguistics. Currently, she teaches several courses related to English and translation. In addition, she conducts research in the field of translation and research related to the Distance Education and E-Learning Program at UT. Several research results in the Education Sector have been published in accredited national journals and international journals.
