Course Description
Today’s logisticians are working in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment. The supply chain has become centre stage, providing competitive advantage to those who can master procurement, supplier management, inventory, warehouses and distribution. Getting the right product in the correct quantity to the right customer at the prescribed time in good condition at an acceptable cost is paramount to not only retaining but increasing sales and profitability. This Course to provide today's participants with a toolbox of practical ideas and information to help them in their day-to-day work. It elaborates some supply chain management tools and suggests areas within supply chain and logistics where they can be utilized, including supply chains, warehousing, transport and inventory.

Sylvia Samuel, M.IBL is a lecturer of Management Study Program. She teaches Global Marketing; Supply Chain Management; Business Analytics; Strategic Management; Cross Culture Management; Integrated Marketing Communication; Human Resources Management; Introduction to Entrepreneurship; and Management Information System courses. She earned her master's degree from University of Sydney, and her doctoral degree from Universitas Trisakti.
