
Course Overview
Peace and Conflict Resolution is a social science study that applies an interdisciplinary exploration approach. This course is offered for beginners in peace and conflict studies.
Peace and Conflict Resolution an understanding of the dynamics of conflicts. In this course, students identify various conflicts, their causes, and actions that can be taken to overcome them. The learning is carried out asynchronously in a self-paced method, and the learning evaluation is through a quiz at each session. Responsibility and integrity of the participants in the evaluation are expected as part of academic values and ethics.
This course consists of 3 sections. In the 1st section, you will learn about the conflict. Then, in the 2nd section you will learn about violence. Lastly, in the 3rd section, you will learn about Conflict Prevention and Resolution. To pass this course, you must achieve a minimum total score of 70.00.
In this course, students identify various conflicts and violences, their causes, and actions that can be taken to overcome them.

Dr. Riska Sri Handayani, S.I.P., M.A. earned a Doctoral degree in Social and Legal Sciences. Previously, she finished a Master's degree in Culture of Peace, Conflicts, Education, and Human Rights.
