
About this course
This is a self-paced course specially crafted for beginners in computer- and IT-related fields, eager to delve into the exciting realm of digital twin technology. In this journey, we will explore straightforward techniques and tools to guide you in creating your first digital twin product. Whether you're a curious hobbyist, aspiring developer, or industry enthusiast, this course is designed to demystify the process of bringing a digital twin to life. By the course's completion, you are expected to obtain the fundamental skills to initiate your own digital twin projects, allowing you to bridge the physical and digital worlds effortlessly.
This course is designed to be completed in about 4 x 90 minutes. The materials are broken down into 4 sections, each of which consisting of explanation (20-30 minutes) of the tools and technical strategies, hands-on activity (45-60 minutes) regarding the case study, and a short quiz (10-15 minutes). As the case study, this course will guide you to create a simple digital twin application/product in the cloud, which represents a room with an air conditioner and a temperature sensor.
Score and certificate
Score is taken from the quizes in each section. You have to score at least 70 (out of 100) in each of them to obtain the completion certificate from or learning platform. Each quiz is limited only for 3 attempts.
Requirements
Basic knowledge about IoT and cloud services is beneficial. You must have a way to access to internet using wide-screen gadget (i.e., not your smartphone), an active email address to create free accounts on some online/cloud tools, and a credit card (or the virtual one, depending on your bank account) to create account at AWS (will not billed).
