Welcome! We're so happy you're here! My name is Twin Hosea; you could call me Twin. I am from the Department of Geoscience, Universitas Indonesia. We're very excited to meet all of you and hear what you think of this course and the material!

This course discusses the definition of volcanism, eruption processes, eruption products, prediction and measurement of eruption strength, types of volcanoes, and the effects of volcanic eruptions. In the learning process, this course uses interactive videos and reading materials. This course is implemented using an asynchronous and self-paced learning system. For complete information, please look at the general information of this course. This lecture is delivered in English. 

In the introduction video, we've tried our best to convince you to join us by explaining the course's general structure. After you've watched it, check out the Grading information to better understand the course goals, topics, and structure of the assignments. Twin Hosea Widodo Kristyanto, M.T., M.Th.

Twin Hosea Widodo Kristyanto is an accomplished geologist with a diverse research portfolio. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Universitas Padjadjaran and a Master's degree in Geology from the same institution. He is pursuing his Ph.D. at Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung, where his research focuses on Landslide Prediction and its Features Engineering Methods. He can be reached via [email protected].
