About This Course
This course provides knowledge about current development of concepts and research in sustainability accounting and reporting. Considering the increasing awareness of sustainability issues in the global as well as national level, this course has its excellence to describe the role of accounting in sustainability which is informed by research and practices. The current development in the sustainability accounting can also be seen from the on-going dynamics of international sustainability standards to complement the international accounting standards. Several lecturers in the Department of Accounting, FEB UI who have published scientific articles in sustainability accounting in international reputable journals will accompany you in the learning journey.

Course Lecturers
Prof. Dr. Sylvia Veronica Nalurita Purnama Siregar, S.E.
Sylvia Veronica Siregar is a Professor of Accounting at Universitas Indonesia. She earned her doctoral degree from Universitas Indonesia in 2005. She is the Chief Editor of JAKI (Jurnal Akuntansi dan Keuangan Indonesia) and a reviewer for many reputable journals. Her research interest is in financial accounting, corporate governance, and sustainability.

Desi Adhariani, SE., MM., PhD
Desi Adhariani is an associate professor and researcher in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia. She holds a PhD in Accounting from Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia, which was funded by the Australia Awards Scholarship. She has been actively involved in several research projects (most of them take multidisciplinary perspectives) and has attracted several research grants namely from the Indonesian Ministry of Research and Higher Education, CIMA (the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and Universitas Indonesia. Her PhD dissertation has been published as a book with Palgrave MacMillan Publisher: Financial Management and Corporate Governance from the Feminist Ethics of Care Perspective (Authors: Desi Adhariani, Nick Sciulli, Robert Clift). Luluk Widyawati, SE., PhD
Luluk Widyawati is a senior lecturer and researcher in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia. She holds a PhD Doctor in Environmental Finance from The University of Queensland Australia. Luluk specialises in accounting and finance for sustainability. Her research focuses on the role of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) information within the Socially Responsible Investments (SRI) market. She has worked in projects and trainings in the field of sustainability reporting, natural capital accounting, and social entrepreneurship in collaboration with various multinational organizations in Indonesia and Singapore.
