About This Course

This course consists of 5 videos which cover:

1. Introduction to OHS in Indonesia 

2. Basic Safety Principles

3. Basic Principles of Occupational Health

4. Introduction to Industrial Hygiene

5. Introduction to Ergonomic and Human Factors

This course is using the self-paced model which means you can access it flexibly according to your schedule and the estimated study time is about 30 - 45 minutes per session (10 minutes watching the video, 25 minutes reading the material, and 10 minutes finishing the quiz).

The learning method used is "Self Paced" and lectures are carried out in English.

After taking this course, you will be able to understand theories; concepts; scientific models; and case study that related to OHS (especially on occupational safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and human factors).

You will get a certificate freely after you complete all the activities in this course.

Mila Tejamaya        

Mila Tejamaya, S.Si., MOHS., Ph.D is a lecturer and a researcher in the field of OSH at Universitas Indonesia and currently the appointed President of IIHA from 2019. She's also acting as Head of Occupational Health and Safety Department in Faculty of Public Health UI. Her latest education is a Doctorate in Environmental Health and Risk Management, University of Birmingham, UK.

The courses taught by her include: Chemical hazard management and biomonitoring, Indoor Air Quality Management, Chemistry and physic for OHS and OHS research method, Hygiene Industry and Basic of Occupational Health and Safety.

Prof. Dr. dr. L. Meily, M.Sc.                    

   L Meily

Prof. L. Meily is a lecturer in Department of Occupational Health and Safety at Universitas Indonesia as well as a researcher in the field of OHS. Her latest education is Doctorate in Epidemiology in Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia. She's active as a member of Association of Indonesian Occupational Health Doctors (IDKI) in HR development department.

The courses taught by her include: Occupational Health, Occupational Illness and Surveillances, Occupational Health Promotion, and Occupational health services.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Sjahrul Meizar Nasri, M.Sc.

  Sjahrul M Nasri

Prof. Sjahrul is a lecturer and a researcher in the field of Occupational Health and Safety at Universitas Indonesia and currently the appointed Head of Occupation Health and Safety Environment Unit in Universitas Indonesia. His latest education is Doctorate in Epidemiology in Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia.

The courses taught by him include: Industry Ventilation, Noise and Vibrate Management, Health Risk Management, Hearing Conservation Program, Principles of Occupational Health and Safety and Hygiene Industry.

Dr. Zulkifli Djunaidi, M.App.Sc.

Zulkifli

dr. Zulkifli is a lecturer and a researcher in the field of Occupational Health and Safety at Universitas Indonesia. His latest education is Doctorate in Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia, he also got his master degree in Griffith University Australia for Environmental and Community Health and Master Degree from University of New South Wales Australia for Applied Science in Safety.

The courses taught by him include: Occupational Safety, OHS Leadership, Safety Risk Management and OHS Management

drg. Baiduri Widanarko, M.K.K.K., Ph.D.

Baiduri

drg. Baiduri is a lecturer in Department of Occupational Health and Safety at Universitas Indonesia as well as a researcher in the field of OHS. She gained her PhD for Occupational Safety and Health at Massey University in New Zealand. She was recognized by the International Ergonomics Association with the prestigious Triennial KU Smith Award for oustanding graduate student research (IEA2012, Brazil).
