Course Description

This course aims to increase students’ knowledge and skills on how to conduct academic discussions, debates, and presentations. The course includes focus on language choices, strategies and understanding of manners in academic discussions on up-to-date topics.

Course Objectives

1. The students will be able to demonstrate on how to give opinions, lead a discussion, agree/disagree appropriately and show their knowledge about some recent topics.
2. Students will be able to formulate and apply methods on how to conduct simple surveys and interviews so as to present academic seminars.
