To meet the growing demand for digital literacy in higher education, this micro-credential program was developed to strengthen the digital teaching skills of university educators. Built on the UNESCO ICHEI Micro-Competency Framework, the program offers structured training modules that focus on essential digital competencies for effective online teaching.
Developed collaboratively by eight Indonesian universities and coordinated by the ICE Institute, the program supports educators in adapting to technological changes and innovating in their teaching practice. All modules follow internationally recognized standards and guidelines to ensure quality and relevance in today’s digital learning landscape.

📖 Program Summary
This micro-credential program is a collaborative initiative led by ICE Institute in partnership with UNESCO-ICHEI and 8 Indonesian universities. It aims to equip higher education teaching personnel with critical digital teaching competencies based on the UNESCO ICHEI Micro-Competency Framework. Through six modular, stackable courses delivered via MOOCs, the program fosters adaptive, inclusive, and data-informed teaching practices in virtual and hybrid learning environments.
By sharpening these competencies, teaching personnel can adapt to the development of digital technologies and also actively contribute to the creation and innovation of academic products in digital era. The development of the program's modules and guidelines adheres to the specifications outlined in the Micro-Competency Specification, Relevant Implementation Guides, and Reference Resources from UNESCO-ICHEI.
