Pengantar Ilmu Komunikasi

Mata kuliah pengantar ilmu komunikasi merupakan mata kuliah wajib yang diberikan pada tahun pertama sebagai pengantar bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Strategic Communication dan sebagai landasan berpikir untuk mengarungi/mengekplorasi kajian ilmu komunikasi sebagai bagian dari disiplin ilmu sosial yang membahas tentang interaksi manusia sebagi suatu amniifestasi dalm proses penciptaan makna melalui pertukaran simbol-simbol dalam kehidupan manusia Pengantar Ilmu Komunikasi ini memuat materi perkuliahan mengenai aspek-aspek fundamental dari studi ilmu komunikasi, sejarah, perkembangan dan model komunikasi, komunikasi dan kehidupan manusia, kompleksitas komunikasi manusia, penerimaan pesan, komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal, komunikasi bermedia, komunikasi interpersonal, komunikasi kelompok, komunikasi organisasi, komunikasi publik, dan komunikasi antarbudaya serta peta studi dan prospek karier bidang komunikasi.
